Main Budget Proposals:

  • Cut in income tax to 20% from 2008;
  • Increase in Corporation Tax for small companies from 19% to 22% over three years;
  • Corporation tax for large companies reduced from 30% to 28% for large companies from 2008;
  • Major increase in national insurance from 2008.
